Be sure to explore our 'Back Country'! In
the winter, you can fine the famous Apple Pie and
even snow in Julian by taking the back road from
State Street to Highway 79 South (go east) pass Warner Springs
and Santa Ysabel; or closer, go to Idyllwild for
some foot stumping country music, or try the
Stampede in Temecula. These are winding back
country roads, great for a Sunday drive from Hemet
through Riverside and San Diego county back roads,
you may even see coyotes, mule deer, or even a bob
cat!
